Founded in 2007, Democracy Live technologies have been deployed in 4,000 elections, serving over 10 million voters in 2,500 jurisdictions and 21 states. In partnership with Amazon and Microsoft, Democracy Live is the largest provider of cloud and tablet-based voting technologies in the U.S.

Democracy Live has been selected by both the Department of Defense and the U.S. State Department for our remote, accessible balloting technologies. A founding member of the Department of Homeland Security sponsored Elections Coordinating Council, Democracy Live is a leading authority on secure voting technologies. Awarded the “2019 Accessibility in Voting Award” presented at the United Nations, Democracy Live technologies have been awarded funding by the Department of Health and Human Services and the Elections Assistance Commission to assist voters with disabilities.

The Democracy Live team has over 100 years of combined elections and voting technology experience. Democracy Live is the only cloud-based balloting provider to be:

1) Selected and funded by the U.S. Department of Defense, the U.S. State Department, Elections Assistance Commission and in 20 states.

2) Certified in all states requiring certification for electronic balloting.

3) Meets NIST Cybersecurity Framework guidelines.

4) Deployed in over 4,000 elections over the last decade.

As a voter and advocate who is blind, I believe that the voting experience should be accessible to all, including those with disabilities. The voting tool should be easy to use, while ensuring that voters are able to cast their vote in a secure, private and and independent fashion. After testing products developed by Democracy Live, I have determined that their products exceed my expectations, thereby providing equal access to voter information prior to and during the voting session, as directed by the United States Department of Justice and disability rights laws.
